Purpose of the RPK Experiment

(Updated May 22, 2013)
The blog posts below are a running account of an experiment that began on August 14, 1965. It has taken this long to get it this simple and for technology to be available.

The present design is a descendant of the 1980s "PK Party" (spoon bending) developed by Jack Houck. Its purpose is to experience and explain the phenomenon of remote psychokinesis and to understand its uncertainties.

We are attempting to produce an NCR (non-consensus reality) event in a CR (consensus reality) frame of reference in order to learn how to apply what physicist/psychologist Arnold Mindell calls The Edge between Physics and Psychology in his seminal work Quantum Mind, published in 2000. We believe that this process will lead us to a more mature understanding of our physical and psychological capabilities, which will in turn help us develop deeper social responsibility for our planet in terms of raising our individual and collective awareness. We believe that this will help transform societal attitudes from ideological needs to subdue, dominate or control each other or other beings of all kinds (animate and inanimate). We believe that this can happen only by partnering and supporting each other in raising our mutual awareness in creative ways.

RPK Phase 3 (Victoria) Peru

On the evening of July 29, 2010, a spirited pioneer group in Peru (prearranged by Victoria Alexander) agreed to attempt moving the stainless steel disk without affecting the red disk hanging within the RPK device pictured in the photo held by Kevin in Figure 1 and physically located in Los Alamos, NM. This was because the group had no access to the internet and the biofeedback (BFT) system. So, they made their attempt using only remote viewing while engaged in Ayahuasca shamanic ceremonies. Even though they felt confident that they had appropriately moved the target object during their ceremonies in Peru, our RPK surveillance system in Los Alamos detected no anomalous movement.

This was a disappointment to the group, of course, but it in no way discouraged us here in Los Alamos. In subsequent communication with Kevin on his return to his home in the U.S. and thanks to Victoria's continuing enthusiasm, we are now arranging for Kevin to continue the experiment using the BFT setup. From his remarkable report of compelling experiences during the Peruvian ceremonies, he believes he has learned how to successfully move one of the objects without affecting the other.

Stay tuned. I think Kevin, together with his spiritual community, may yet be close to making something remarkable and surprising happen!
